Carolyn M. Angelaccio is Partner, Co-Chair of the Property Damage Insurance Litigation Section, and member of the Firm’s Management Committee. She litigates in both state and federal courts and has tried multiple cases to verdict with a practice focusing on first party property insurance and extra-contractual claims. Aside from her significant trial experience, she also provides advice/counsel regarding coverage matters, compliance, business practices, and policy language, related to a variety of insurance topics, including appraisal, claims against agents, civil insurance fraud, and bad faith. Ms. Angelaccio’s expertise and efficiency are directly related to her focus on property coverage and litigation. She also represents individuals in private disability and Social Security claims, successfully obtaining Social Security benefits and Supplemental Security Income through hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges.
Ms. Angelaccio is active in the Bucks County Bar Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors and on the of the Member Services Committee, which she previously chaired in 2011 and 2016. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Bucks County Bar Association (2008 – 2010) and as the Vice-Chairperson (2006) and Chairperson (2007) of the Young Lawyers Division of the Bucks County Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Angelaccio was a member of the Merit Selection Committee, the Nominating Committee of the Bucks County Bar Association, and the Executive Director Selection Committee.
Ms. Angelaccio has been named a Pennsylvania Rising Star Lawyer through a peer-review process as published by Philadelphia Magazine and selected as a Pennsylvania Lawyer on the Fast Track by The Legal Intelligencer. This award recognizes thirty-five Pennsylvania lawyers under 40 who have shown outstanding promise and commitment to the legal profession and have made a significant contribution to the community at large. She has been selected as one of Bucks County’s Forty Under 40 awarded through a public nomination process to young professionals who shine in the community.
She has served on the Board of Trustees of Grey Nun Academy in Yardley, Pennsylvania and is also an active member of Amici Della Lingua Italiana, an organization promoting Italian American culture.
