Trusts and Estates Paralegal (Yardley, PA)

Curtin & Heefner LLP is seeking a full or part-time experienced Paralegal to join its growing Trusts and Estates practice group.  C&H is a regional Bucks County based law firm with offices in Yardley, Doylestown, Berwyn, and Princeton, NJ. The firm is ranked in size among the Top 100 Law Firms in Pennsylvania.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in trusts and estates administration.  Applicants must have excellent organizational skills, written and oral communication skills and the ability to multi-task and work independently. Must be motivated, client service focused and detail oriented. Duties include client coordination, preparation of probate documents, court filings, review and organization of financial records, valuation of assets, communication with financial institutions, preparation of tax filings and accountings, and maintenance of  databases.  Experience with Lackner software preferred, but not required.  Paralegal certification and Notary is a plus.

Professional & Administrative Staff

Curtin & Heefner LLP employs support staff in a wide variety of positions, and we encourage qualified individuals to apply for positions at the firm.

Law Firm Courier position (Part-time)

Responsibilities:

  • Pick-up mail from the post office and distribute daily
  • Process and take outgoing mail to post office daily
  • Perform courier duties between Firm’s Yardley and Doylestown offices, Bucks County courthouse and other deliveries as assigned
  • Stock office supplies in mailroom
  • Maintain and retrieve files in storage as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid PA driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed at the IRS published rate plus a per diem), & full coverage auto insurance (proof must be provided)
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a great attitude and minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills & ability to work well with attorneys, administrative & courthouse staff

Schedule:

  • 7 hour shift every other Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

License/Certification:

  • Driver’s License (Required)
