Tom focuses his practice on complex insurance coverage issues and the defense of insurance companies in lawsuits involving breach of contract and bad faith claims, as well as general liability defense of individuals and corporate entities. He also has been extensively involved in the defense of bodily injury and medical malpractice cases.

Mr. Mueller works in the Property Damage Section.

Tom has worked tirelessly throughout his career on behalf of insurance carrier clients and their insureds. He is the Vice President of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance, a national organization of nearly 50,000 insurance and legal professionals committed to furthering the highest standards of claims and litigation management. He also is an Officer on the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Loss Conference. Tom grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and has spent his entire life in and around the city. He enjoys spending time with his better half, Jen, and their five children in Southampton, PA and is an avid Philadelphia and Penn State sports fan.

Mr. Mueller is rated “AV Preeminent” on Martindale-Hubbell, which the organization describes as signifying “that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.”
