James handles all aspects of first and third party litigation.  He also has over 10 years of experience litigating premises liability and personal injury matters on behalf of a diverse array of clients, ranging from self-insured small businesses to the largest insurance companies in the United States.  James has also litigated a wide swath of personal injury matters during his career, many of which blended premises liability and personal injury along with motor vehicle accidents.  James served as National Coordinating Counsel for multiple large companies, overseeing the nationwide defense of litigation.

Mr. Coleman previously managed all aspects of pre-trial litigation for asbestos and general claims.    He personally oversaw the Midwest and West Regions, including St. Louis, St. Clair and Madison Counties, Illinois cases, all jurisdictions dubbed “Judicial Hellholes” by the American Tort Reform Alliance.   He was editor of the Asbestos Case Tracker  blog, an internet resource that covers in real-time court decisions and other developments in asbestos litigation throughout the country.
