Profile

For over 30 years Mindy Snyder has concentrated her practice in family law matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a skillful and strong litigator who deals with complex issues utilizing compassion and understanding. The areas of practice of family law she handles include Divorce, Equitable Distribution, Custody, Grandparent’s Rights, Child and Spousal Support, Protection from Abuse, Pre-Nuptial Agreements, and Adoptions. She uses her experience and skills as an effective negotiator as well as in the courtroom as a litigator.

Ms. Snyder is a lifelong resident of Bucks County. Mindy graduated from Neshaminy Maple Point in 1982 and went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in History from Penn State University in 1986. From there she went directly to law school at Yeshiva University/Benjamin Cardozo School of Law from where she graduated in 1989. After law school, she returned to her home in Bucks County to begin the practice of law. She is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania State Bar, New Jersey State Bar, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She has continuously practiced law primarily in Bucks County, and surrounding counties in Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 1989.

Charitable, Community and Civic Involvement

Mindy is an active member of her local and legal communities. She is currently Chair of the Women’s Law Division of the Bucks County Bar Association, a member of the Family Law Division of the Bucks and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and the Doris J. Freed Inn of Court which is a specialty inn of court focusing solely on family law matters. She sits on the Board of Directors of Hands Holding Hearts, a local non-profit community-based bereavement resource, supporting children and families through grief.

In recognition of her professional achievement and knowledge, Mindy has been named to the list of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers in Family Law, a distinction limited to just 5 percent of attorneys in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a Top Attorney in Bucks County by Suburban Life Magazine and has received a Very High Rating in Both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards by Martindale Hubbell.
