Kyong Ha Growney, Esq., partner and chair of the Employment and Labor Law Group at Curtin & Heefner LLP, was a guest speaker at the Villanova Law Alumni Association/Minority Alumni Society’s Speed Networking Event on March 14, 2013 at Villanova University School of Law. Ms. Growney was honored to speak on the topic of networking to a group of alumni and students. Ms. Growney concentrates her practice in all areas of employment and labor law. She represents a variety of organizations and businesses on a broad range of employment and labor issues, including discrimination, wrongful discharge, wage and hour claims, leave issues under FMLA and ADA, labor relations, reductions in force, non-compete agreements, and other workplace disputes. She also advises employers on preventative measures such as implementation of handbooks and policies, performance evaluations, job descriptions, and legal audits. In addition to her practice, Ms. Growney is a frequent lecturer on employment law topics.
