Profile

Jeremy A. Wechsler focuses his legal practice on estate planning, elder planning, tax, probate, and estate administration. Jeremy is passionate about helping his clients protect their legacy by using common sense principles and proven solutions. Jeremy practices holistic planning, and advocates a team approach to estate planning, including working with the client’s financial advisor, tax advisor and other professionals to make sure the plan actually works. Although not a financial advisor, Jeremy has a keen understanding of financial planning issues, having passed the Series 65 investment advisor exam.

Jeremy is particularly passionate about senior legal issues, including ensuring a client has appropriate care, protecting a client’s estate to the greatest extent permitted under the law, and protecting a client from elder financial abuse.

Jeremy works with a broad range of individuals and families, including business owners, nontraditional
families, and families with special needs individuals.

Jeremy assists with all facets of estates, from estate planning, to elder law matters, to probate and estate administration. Jeremy also represents individual beneficiaries and Executors in a variety of matters.

Beyond estate planning, Jeremy’s life has been devoted to serving his community. After college, Jeremy joined Teach For America, a national program that places individuals in underserved public schools. He spent three years teaching middle school in West Philadelphia. Currently, Jeremy serves as a volunteer for the Support Center for Child Advocates as a volunteer attorney. In that capacity, he helps abused and neglected children receive the best possible representation. Jeremy also serves as a volunteer pro bono attorney for LegalAid of Southeastern Pennsylvania and PhillyVIP, representing individuals that cannot afford legal assistance.

In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys traveling, volunteering, mentoring, fitness and spending time with his family and Pablo, his energetic Chihuahua. He was raised in Langhorne, PA and currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.
